Prologue

The Emperor of Magical Arcana started the close to four-hundred-year golden age of the development of divinity power and magic. He changed the rules of how to become a Divine Castor.

Xiafeng was a man from Earth who used to be a university student. One night, while he was working on an essay in the library, a fire broke out due to an accident, destroying everything inside. Tragically, Xiafeng couldn’t escape and passed away.

However, he then found himself transmigrated into the body of Lucien Evans.

Upon arrival in this new world as Lucien Evans, the first thing Xiafeng witnessed was the execution of a beautiful young sorceress by burning at the stake at the hands of the Church of Truth.

The real Lucien had faced the Inquisition due to that sorceress being his neighbor, where they used some kind of holy spell that affected him mentally, resulting in his mental and physical harm.

Although they found out he was innocent, the real Lucien was seriously hurt and died as a result, allowing Xiafeng to possess his body.
