Chapter 1235: I’ll See You All In My Next Stories! [FIN]

Lucien was more than ready to embark in his new adventure to save a dying world from destruction as part of the Heaven’s Gate Project.

However, just as he was about to be sent to the world that he was about to save, an accident happened, which forced his Patron God, the God of Gamblers, to take another gamble in order to preserve his chosen candidate’s life.

Lucien, who’s new identity was named Lux, found himself in a world where darkness could be light, and light could be dark. A world where morality was but a thin line from depravity, and a happy ending could only be gained, by facing the world and slapping it with a Legion of the Undying.

Plot

Lucien was chosen by the God of Gamblers to participate in the Heaven’s Gate Project. Their goal was to help save a dying world from destruction, and ensure that it wouldn’t be destroyed a second time.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go according to the God’s plan. Lucien’s soul was heavily injured during the soul transfer and on the verge of collapse. Having no other alternative, the God of Gamblers was forced to take yet another gamble to preserve his chosen candidate’s soul and help him find a new vessel.

As if arranged by Fate itself, Lucien’s soul wandered into the world of Solais until it merged with the dead body of a newborn baby that was left to float down a river. With his new identity as Lux, the boy realized that even with the blessings given to him by the Gods, saving a world was not an easy matter.

Chapter 1: Prologue

“I see things others can’t.”

A blazing inferno raged across the capital city that once stood on the continent for thousands of years.

“Hear things others don’t.”

The sound of warcries, curses, and dying screams spread across the entire city as the invaders mercilessly attacked anything and everything in their path.

“Shed tears when others won’t.”

The sound of babies and children wailing in their mother’s arms could be heard everywhere, as their parents desperately looked for a safe place to hide in order to save themselves from the one-sided massacre that was happening around them.
